One of the problems with traditional swim lessons is that there is no good way to visually show students how they swim. Coaches and instructors have always had to “show and tell” their students verbally what happened as they attempted different techniques. At SwimLabs, each of our pools is equipped with a full length mirror installed along the bottom of the pool allowing our students to watch themselves, giving them instantaneous visual feedback.
At SwimLabs we use a total of three cameras, one mounted over the swimming area, one mounted in front of the swimming area, and a mobile camera. This allows us to capture a 360 degree view of each swimmer in action, both above and in the water. By providing constant visual feedback to our clients, we are able to accelerate our clients learning process, as they are better able to understand exactly how to perform and correct their swimming technique.
